Impass!

Tonight your negotiations team met with the BOE. After brief discussions regarding salary, both sides have agreed to declare an impass in the process. We will continue to meet and plan while waiting for the assignment of a mediator.

We will also begin the action planning process. All interested individuals should contact their reps.

#2. MULTICULTURAL MANNERS

DATE – Monday, October 17, 2011

Education professionals learn how to foster harmonic relationships and combat prejudices utilizing techniques that develop in students a tolerance and respect for people whose race, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, age, and physical abilities are different. The materials shared in this workshop offer bridge-building skills to support and value diversity effectively within groups and to enable students from different backgrounds and perspectives to work in harmony towards shared academic goals.

COST – $5.00

Legislative changes as a result of Chapter 78 have made major changes to pensions and health benefits. UniServ Reps Nancy Holmes and Donna Maurer will update members about these changes and how they affect members.

Here you will receive updates for negotiations, professional development opportunities, legislative actions, and all CamVoc information. The site is also fully accessible via any web enabled device whether it be a computer, tablet, smartphone, or iPod.

Subscribing to Changes

Beyond simply checking the website, there are a number of new ways to stay up to date with CamVoc news:
